An animated short video
of a clumsy skater
I created together with my team this short animated video about a clumsy skater that constantly tries to make some nice tricks with the skateboard but keep failing until he can finally succeed.
It was my first time approaching the 3D animation world to create such a big project and I was involved hands-on on every phase of it.

Storyboard
Every video project begins with a spark of inspiration, an idea waiting to be nurtured and developed into a storyboard. This initial stage is where the magic begins to take shape as we flesh out the concept, visualizing the narrative flow, scene compositions, and character actions. It's a crucial step in the creative process, laying the foundation for the entire project.

3D Modeling
Following the completion of the storyboard, our focus shifted towards the creation of the entire environment and characters in 3D using Blender, a powerful software renowned for its versatility in animation and modeling.
This stage marked a significant leap in the project's development, as we transitioned from two-dimensional sketches to three-dimensional landscapes and lifelike characters.
Rigging and animating
Now, it was time to move on to rigging the characters and animating all the scenes, a crucial phase in bringing our digital world to life. Rigging involves creating a skeletal structure for the characters, enabling us to manipulate their movements realistically.
With the animation complete, we turned our attention to the final stage of the production process: video editing. Using specialized software, we meticulously assembled all the animated scenes, fine-tuning transitions, adding visual effects, and synchronizing sound elements to create a cohesive and immersive viewing experience.
